Rebel kids show choir Rotterdam (6-10 years)
Welcome!
We are looking for kids aged 7-10 years old to join a new international show choir project in Rotterdam.
What is this project?
Many children in the Netherlands know Kinderen voor Kinderen, where singing, dancing and performing come together.
Our project follows a similar idea, but in an international environment.
Children will sing, dance, perform, record songs, take part in photoshoots, music videos and festival performances. Lessons are taught primarily in English, with some Dutch used when needed.
The repertoire will include popular children's music inspired by K-pop, Eurovision and contemporary pop music, alongside our own original songs written especially for the group.
Children will sing in different languages. In our experience, this is not only possible, but also great fun for them.
Important: This is a project, not a casual hobby group
This choir has existed for over 5 years, but from 2026 we are transforming it into a structured project-based production group.
The expected commitment is 2 years.
Our ambition is simple:
To become the leading international children's vocal project in the Netherlands.
Trial Period
September 2026 is a free trial month.
Children may attend ALL scheduled rehearsals free of charge before deciding whether they would like to join.
At the same time, we will observe the children to see whether the project is a good fit for them.
We are not looking for perfect singers.
We are looking for:

• willingness to learn
• stage potential
• ability to work in a team
Project Timeline
September 2026 - January 2027
Learning and rehearsing 8 songs:
• 4 well-known songs
• 4 original songs
January 2027 - April 2027
Studio recordings
• audio recording sessions
• 2 video shoots
• professional photoshoot
May 2027 - July 2027
Festival and performance season
We aim for a minimum of 4 performances.
August 2027
Summer break
September 2027 - July 2028
New repertoire, new recordings and continued performances.
We aim for at least 6 performances per year.
Rehearsal Structure
Every Tuesday
16:00 - 16:40 Vocal training
16:40 - 16:50 Break
(water, fruit, toilet)
16:50 - 17:30 Choreography and stage performance
School holidays and breaks follow the Rotterdam school calendar.
Recordings, Photos and Videos
Some Saturdays instead of lesson may be used for:
• recording sessions
• video shoots
• photoshoots
These dates will always be communicated at least 4 weeks in advance.
All rehearsals may be filmed or photographed for:
• educational purposes
By joining the project, parents agree to the recording and publication of photo and video material featuring their child.
Performances
Performance costumes are provided by the organisation.
For performances outside Rotterdam, logistics and travel arrangements will be communicated at least 2 weeks in advance.

If your child simply wants to try singing occasionally, this may not be the right project.
If your child lights up when music starts playing and dreams of performing, we would love to meet her.
Trial period 5,12,19,26 September free.
Fee: 660 eur per year, can be paid in 3 terms.
