Ritual Rave Choir is an international immersive choir project that takes traditional songs, chants and musical heritage from cultures around the world and brings them into a radically new sonic universe.

Ancient melodies collide with electronic music, live drums, guitars, deep bass, cinematic sound design and the raw power of human voices.

The result is not folk music preserved behind glass. It is alive. Physical. Loud. Hypnotic.

It has groove you can feel in your body, harmonies that raise goosebumps, and a collective sound powerful enough to turn a concert into something closer to a ritual.

You are not the audience. You are inside the performance.

Ritual Rave Choir was created as an immersive experience rather than a traditional choir concert.

Whenever the space allows it, the choir performs in one or two circles, with the audience surrounding them or moving around and between the performance space. There is no strict border between stage and audience.

Even in a conventional theatre or festival setting, the choir does not stand still behind microphones. The singers move, transform formations and use the entire stage as part of the performance.

The audience doesn't simply listen.

They become part of the ritual.

From ancient folk song to rave

A Ritual Rave set can begin with a call inspired by the haunting vocal world of Hans Zimmer's Dune: a sound that seems to reach somewhere deep and instinctive before the first beat has even arrived.

From there, the journey moves through cultures, languages and centuries.

The Bulgarian “Kaval Sviri” becomes a powerful contemporary ritual driven by rhythm and electronics.

A traditional Dutch song, “Daar was een sneeuwwit vogeltje,” is pulled out of its familiar context and rebuilt inside an entirely different sonic world.

The American gospel “Witness” becomes part of the same journey, alongside folk songs, chants and musical traditions from across the world.

Different cultures. Different centuries. Different languages.
